Gary N. Luse (Bowen)
Street Address: 8535 Stillwater
City: Dallas
State: Texas
Zip Code: 75243
Occupation: I write mostly, do some tech business consulting and manage the
occasional public relations project. I've also resurrected my "voice"
career after a 15 year absence from radio and teevee; occasional commercials but
mostly institutional work (voice-overs for trade show video presentations and
instructional videos)...and a few other mainstream things some of you might have
seen/heard.
Spouse Name/Occupation: Two exes...who cares? I had this habit of marrying women
who were as mean as snakes so I stopped at two! But my current
"lady-companion" and I are doing fine after almost four years.
Probably will so long as the "M"-word doesn't come up. Great
lady...better than I deserve!
Children/Ages: WIllow/25 (just) veterinarian in Durango, Colorado and
Samantha/18 attending University of St. Louis on a soccer scholarship.
Grand Kids/Ages: Not yet...but Willow's getting married this spring so
check back in a year or so. They're anxious to start (and probably already
have:-)
Specific Places I've Been: Most states, many European countries, a few Caribbean
islands, Peru, Ecuador & the Galapagos Islands (November of '01...for 11
days...THAT was neat!)

Personal Web Page:
Fondest Memory: Coaches South and Miller always finding "something"
for me to do, working on both Jr and Sr plays, football two-a-days in August
with minimal water/ice (didn't we love the abuse?!), wearing shorts at March
track meets (brr) was a pain but when the weather warmed up it was fun to
"peacock":-)
The Real Me: I was different than I seemed, mildly neurotic (still am...all good
writers are I hear:-) My bluster covered up a lot of shyness (still does).
Benefit/Waste: Benefit - Mrs. Louis' senior English class. She made me WANT to
be a writer. Ms. Proffit's typing class. Beats writing with a #2 pencil. Waste -
I'd have to say our 20 minute lunch periods...I STILL sometimes bolt my food to
this day:-)
Learned After Graduation: It's hard to quantify only one thing, other than
learning how to be more "in tune" with my spiritual side. The real
education began the day I left home (in my case...for college). Imagine all of
us could say that though. That learning experience certainly continues to this
day!
Looking Back: I wasted a lot of energy focusing on sublime things and listening
to the voices of others'...rather than the one that was inside me.
People Will/Will Not Recognize Me: Most of them did as I recall.
