Fondest Memory: Good Times hunting & fishing with Marc Welch, Bill Britton, and Dickey Morton on my grandparent's farm. Wildest Time was the 70th day of 1970 Senior Party at Jerry Cox's house and I haven't been the same since.
The Real Me: We moved into the Kimball district before our sophomore year, so in my case, our friendship started there, with only 3 exceptions: Dee McGlasson & Elzada Yarborough, from church, and the late Karen Douglas, my dancing partner also from Greiner Jr. High.
Benefit/Waste: The value of Friendship & Life is priceless, but can end abruptly. You may recall both my brothers died in 1968. Without total regret I did waste a lot of time dating only one girl (at Sunset) during high school with Kimball full of great looking girls.
Learned After Graduation: I can coach little league sports I never played myself! 13 soccer seasons with 4 division championships & 7 baseball seasons with 3 championships and one perfect undefeated season in 1994.
Looking Back: Everything was less complicated, we had lots of "spare" time, and I never got tired. Those were good ole days!
People Will/Will Not Recognize Me: My teenagers have turned my hair silver, but I still wear my boots & my voice hasn't changed... still too loud.
