March 2003 at Tillman's Corner
Well, the turnout was not as great as we had hoped for, probably due to the weather being so bad and people were playing catch-up.
We hope to see you next time!
Our next dinner will be April 5th at Pappadeaux on Oak Lawn.

Come join us for the March Rat Pack Dinner. If you have never been before, we really have a great time. We would like to see a huge turnout for this one. Please RSVP to Gayla Mitchell at gaylamitchell@outerworlds.com if you are attending.
Located in the Bishop Arts District, people come from all over Dallas to this kitschy hodgepodge of American fast food and Asian-accented entrees. Tillman's feels more like a neighborhood bar than a restaurant. This former bowling alley has been in business for nearly a decade, and has a steady number of regulars who take their dinner here almost every night. Vegetarians needn't stay away -- from a grilled vegetarian sandwich to veggie stir-fry, the menu boasts plenty of animal- free entrees. But, for those meat-eaters, burgers, lamb chops and other hearty meat dishes abound. To go with the bovine is a fine selection of imported beer. This is one of Dallas' best- kept secrets, especially for those who dare not cross the Trinity River Bridge into Oak Cliff. -- John Vega
